As a young stay-at-home mom, I was able to prioritize taking care of my family. As enjoyable as that was, my children grew up which led to me exploring what a fulfilling life meant to me. I realized I wanted more connection and fun and the ability to engage in a way that allowed me to live life to the fullest. I went back to college in my 40s and got my degree as an Occupational Therapy Assistant. (and further went on to become certified as an ACE Personal Trainer and as a Health Coach). What I gained most from my education was the importance of allowing individuals (including myself) to define what a fulfilling life means to them. With that priority in mind, CogniFit was born.
Meet our Pickleball Trainer
Hello, I'm Rico Suggs.
I retired from the United States Army in March of 2021 completing 23 years of honorable service. I want to live my life doing what makes me happy. I saw a sign in front of a recreation center saying "Open Pickle Ball Monday- Friday". I decided to give it a try and ended up loving the game. I've been playing for a little over 2 years now. The people who I started with taught me to play and I grew in the sport to the point that my fellow players began requesting my help to improve their game. I love taking a little time out of my day to help others love this beautiful game as much as I do. I love that anyone can learn to play pickleball.
